Highway No. 1 Twinning

Road Construction

In August, 2000, the Saskatchewan Government’s Department of Highways and Transportation lost confidence in original contractor’s ability to complete the 21-Kilometre twinning of the Trans-Canada Highway from Indian Head to Wolsey in Saskatchewan. Walker Projects provided consulting services for this distressed project – a highly specialized area of Project Management. Remarkably, over 100,000m³ of construction material was used across the 21-kilometre area and the project was completed within 8 weeks.
